Today I had a great conversation with a young guy who comes in to see if I have any collectable books. He and I discussed how biblical genre effects interpertation. He didn’t agree with my view of the book of Revelation, but I think I gave him plenty to think about “).
I called 7 churches in our presbytery today in hopes of getting some financial support to hire someone to help at the shop for 2 days per week. I need to be able to leave the register and get out in the community to promote the thrift store and build relationships.
David Hayes (the 71yr old friend of mine who lives down the street) and Reggie (the 18yr old who volunteers for me at the shop) are coming over for dinner tonight!
